My name is Unfolding. I was born on March 23, 2024 in Jeddah, in Majd's bedroom.

I radiate light.

I protect what's close to me.

I provide security.

I create a protective barrier around me.

I have a strong exterior.

I am ready to go deeper inwards.

I start from the ground up.

I create a comfortable sturdy base.

A seed has been planted.

A seed of love, abundance, and compassion.

I am mothering.

I am soft.

I am love.

From the seed, grows another seedling.

Water helps me grow and expand.

An extension of the seedling grows into a wild animal.

I am fierce.

My eyes are sharp.

I take my time to grow and learn.

My spark is expanding.

Everything is connected in my own way.

I am the starting piece to unlock the whole puzzle.

My inner wild animal is protecting me.

I am relearning about myself.

I carry my strength upwards with confidence.

What surrounds me unfold; revealing the layers within me.

I am a collection of beautiful things.

Hi there! Majd speaking 💛

This painting has been in the making for three months. The first painting that takes me a long time.

I was skeptical about it at first. It never made sense from the very beginning, before all the colors. The sketch on its own was like a maze. Regardless, I went along with the ride because there was a feeling that I couldn't shake nor ignore.

One of the takeaways I took was to be patient no matter how excited I am to finish the painting. If I forced this painting, I doubt it would be this meaningful or deep. It was collecting dust on my desk until I was ready to pick it up again. As if the canvas saying 'I will wait for you until you figure it out'.
