My name is High Above. I was born on October 15, 2023 in Majd's Bedroom; Jeddah. Fun fact, most of me was created in a restaurant called Cwtch.

I have golden wings. Actually, it might be just one on my left side. (Your right)

On my head is something of a golden crown.

There is a city under me.

I don't have any clear features on my face.

My face is blended in with my neck.

Even though my arm is raised up, it is curled down.

My right arm holds power, empowered by the pink and green.

I feel calm.

I feel strong.

I feel stable.

The blue appears muted, almost grey.

I am flying over the city aiming for something higher.

I am not quite ready yet but I am on my way.

The blue is pushing me back down. It carries resistance.

I am not seeing where I am going.

I am in between the ground and sky.

The purple is giving me the momentum to fly higher.

There is a direction in theory, but the action that I need to do is not clear.

I have the power and strength but I want more.

Hi there! Majd speaking 💛

A little backstory on this painting: the reason it came to life is because I did it for a restaurant that has the same color schemes but slightly different shades. I had the creative freedom in deciding how it looked like.

The plan was for it to be horizontal but then it became my first vertical painting ever.

My favorite part about is the look alike of The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo. Once I realized, I was like 'I made it!' :)

Anyways...

Trying to understand what this painting means has been challenging. I think because I don't want to admit the reality of it.

What I learnt is that I have so many goals that I want to achieve, but I am not connected to them fully. They feel like a theory than reality.

Something I have been learning recently, is in order to manifest something, you need to feel it like you are going through it already. You have the feeling of accomplishing it already memorized in your heart.

Studying this painting came in the right time and I am glad it did. I can see where I am going now.
